Becoming Obedient

So today I had a appointment to continue getting help with some need resources. However, it was for something that started under false pretenses and I would have to continue them that way. I was contemplating if I should go because we could really use the help but I thought this morning no. I know that when is all started it was because I was relying on myself to provide in times of need and not on God.
Right as I thought this the phone rings. I didn't get to it in time which led me to listen to my voice mail. The first message was Dave telling me he was doubling 7 hours! What a blessing. Then I called my friend Michele, the missed call, and she told me that she had a friend that was wanting to do something for the school carnival. Michele told her about our family and that I was unable to take our family to the carnival due to no money. She blessed us with 100 tickets. This may sound small to some however, to a mother of a 4 and 3 year old who was going to have to explain to her kids that they can't go and play at the carnival even though mommy was going to volunteer there, it is BIG! They don't understand what volunteer means. All they know is that mommy would be going to the carnival and they aren't.
Then this evening I and the girls went to visit with a friend and her daughter and I asked them to come along with me to the store to pick up a few cleaning supplies. While there she asked if would watch her daughter tomorrow night. I said of course the girls will love to have for a sleep over. Then she paid for my cleaning supplies in exchange for having her daughter over. Which I would have never even asked for pay for that. We have been wanting her to come for a sleep over for a while now.
Then once I finally got to check my emails today I saw that there was a mystery shopping job available here in town.

God is so faithful!!! It amazing to see His work and power. It was such a blessing to experience this day. To see how due to one act of obedience, God has blessed me numerous times today. I can be so hard to turn over control to God but once it is done He is so faithful and wonderful. I can't wait to see what he has in store for me tomorrow.
